Event Description: Any business with customers or employees needs to be in compliance with the Red Flags Rule. Regardless of the company's size, there is a lot to know about preventing identity theft. If any data regarding clients, employees or vendors is stolen, lost, mishandled or misplaced, you may find yourself facing legal issues. The Red Flags Rule requires businesses and organizations to implement a written Identity Theft Prevention Program designed to detect the warning signs - or "red flags" - of identity theft in their day-to-day operations. The law became effective January 1, 2008, with a compliance due date of June 1, 2010. Two separate seminars will be held. Morning or Afternoon, pick the seminar that best suits your schedule. Seminars are limited to 25. Hand-outs provided.
