Event Description: Rotary Club of Ventura South Mardi Gras Pahtay is comin’ to The Tower Club from 3 – 7 PM on Feb 26th, 2017 and you’re invited! Mardi Gras - two little words with an infinitely larger meaning. For different people it’s different things—an event, a day, a way of life, or a million parades and so many memories. Ventura South’s Rotary Club definition of Mardi Gras brings together neighbors, friends and community leaders to create a positive, lasting change in our community! The Rotary has been making history and bringing our world closer together for over 100 years. Rotary Club of Ventura South wants to make an impact on our community’s toughest challenges, mental health, homelessness and Veterans. That’s why they have partnered with Turning Point Foundation. For over 28 years, Turning Point has provided a safety net of services to the most vulnerable members of our community, getting people off the streets into shelter and housing. Turning Point expanded their programs to address the needs of our returning service men with the Veterans Transitional Housing facility, the first on the Central Coast. The auction has such great experiences like a New Orleans Trip including airfare, hotel accommodation, Jazz Brunch at the Brennan’s; Kings vs Raptors Hockey and dinner at The Palm; Las Vegas Trip Turnaround; Travel Anytime – Anywhere (Almost!); and more once in a lifetime experiences!
