Event Description: Marple Deconstructed: The Evolution of a Master Master Model Ship Builder Exhibit Opening Reception at the Maritime Opening reception November 7, 2015 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Maritime Museum. Explore the career of Edward F. Marple, arguably one of the most talented ship model makers in the world. The Channel Islands Maritime Museum is honored to display his entire collection in an exhibit runs through January 3, 2016. The Channel Islands Maritime Museum is open daily 11-5 pm. Located in Oxnard’s Channel Islands Harbor at 3900 Bluefin Circle, permanent exhibits include a seascape gallery of rare and beautiful maritime paintings dating back to the 1600’s and more than sixty world-class models of historic ships.
